Brook Golf Club Situated in 112 acres of mature

Valley Golf Club From
the White tees, the course measures 6,295 yards and plays to a par 70
SSS 71 the course is conceded to be one of the tougher courses in Essex

yds. for red(Ladies), Colne Valley can provide as little or as much

Frinton
Golf Club Frinton is a seaside course that provides
a fine test of golf. At 6,265 yards, Frinton is not excessively long by modern standards and, at first glance, the open fairways with their lack of trees may seem unchallenging, but this is certainly not the whole story. The fast, firm, undulating greens test the best putters. Tidal ditches cross many fairways requiring accurately placed shots. The trademark of the links course, the ever-changing sea breeze, demands careful club selection on every hole. Our greens are probably the best all year round greens in the region. |

Lexden
Wood Golf Club The main course was redesigned and
redeveloped in the winter of 2006 through to the spring of 2007, at
a cost of £1m by Jonathan Gaunt, course architect. He has added another 1000 yards in distance to the previous layout, adding new greens and tees as well as reconstructing and adding nearly 80 new bunkers. Today the course is almost unrecognisable to the original layout. With substantial investment on course maintenance and new Head Green keeper Antony Kirwan, Lexden Wood is fast becoming Colchester’s premier golf centre. |
